 (last week’s news)

Mrs. L.L. Ayers and son made a business trip to Neillsville Sat.

Willie Pischer is spending the week with his cousin Oswald Pischer.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Gluch spent Sunday at Henry Winter.

Carl Loeffler had feed ground at Neillsville Tuesday.

Mrs. Kier called on Mrs. Dahlke Tuesday.

Ernest Ayers is busy harvesting ice.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Wilding drove to Granton Tuesday.

Mrs. Kier and son were out exercising the new horse Wednesday.

Mrs. Pischer entertained a number of her friends in honor of her birthday Friday evening.

The North Grant correspondent of the Neillsville papers accuses the correspondent of The New of being out of date because we weren’t aware of the exact date of the purchase of a horse they had on trial.  Too bad.  But then we’d rather be a little slow than publish night mares and day dreams as this party some times does and we are always willing to correct mistakes.
