Peterson Candidate for Sheriff

Raymond L. Peterson, of Route 2, Black River Falls, announces he is a candidate for the nomination for Sheriff of Jackson County on the Republican ticket.

Born in the Town of Pigeon, Trempealeau county, Wisc., he moved with his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter A. Peterson, to the Town of Albion in Jackson county at the age of four years, and has been a resident of Jackson county and the town of Albion ever since.

Ray Peterson engaged extensively in farming until two years ago when the Peterson family farm was sold and since then he has been engaged in the buying and selling of livestock throughout the county.

He and his wife Evelyn live on Route 2. Their sons, Arland and Alan, are residents of Black River Falls.

Mr. Peterson is a member of the Board of Directors of the Midland Cooperative and is a former Supervisor of the Town of Albion.

He pledges that if he is elected he will devote his full time to the duties of the office and will greatly appreciate every effort made to insure his election to the office he seeks.
