Wagner, Violet (Marriage – 9 June 1951)

Now living in Black River Falls are Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Edwards, newlyweds, following a wedding trip to Lake of the Ozarks. Mrs. Edwards is the former Violet Wagner, daughter of Mrs. George Kapoun of Black River Falls, formerly of Neillsville, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Edwards of Winona, Minn.

The wedding took place at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Neillsville on Saturday, June 9, 1951.

The bride was attired in a white nylon floor length dress with a fingertip veil, held by a rhinestone crown. Her bridal bouquet consisted of pink and white roses. Miss Rose Neuhaus, the bridesmaid, wore a baby blue nylon lace gown. Tom Peasley of Black River Falls attended the groom.

The bride is a graduate of the Neillsville High School with the class of 1951. The bridegroom is a graduate of the Black River Falls High School and is employed at the Gamble store there.
