Johnson, Nancy Jane (29 AUG 1975)

On Saturday, August 29, 1975, at 7 p.m., in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Marshfield, Nancy Jane Johnson, Marshfield, became the bride of Steven Lynn Rogstad, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.). Oficiating at the ceremony was Pastor Eldor F. Messerschmidt. Ron Gluch played the pipe organ and Gordy Denk played guitar and sang, along with Sharon Schoonover and Diane Anderegg. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Johnson, Marshfield, and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Rogstad, Loyal.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, was seen in a white polyester knit gown, with voile floral flocked princess line, empire waist and a long train trimmed with wedding bell lace. She had a fingertip veil trimmed with wedding bell lace attached to a crown of stephanotis, pink and yellow roses, baby's breath and ivy leaves. She carried a bouquet of miniature white orchids, pink and yellow roses, stephanotis, baby's breath and different ivy green vines.

Mrs. Celeste Dyle, Marshfield, was the matron of honor, and Mrs. Keith Bushman, Marshfield, and Miss Mary Lou Johnson, Marshfield, were bridesmaids. The matron of honor was attired in a green voile floral print dress with puffed sleeves, V-neck trimmed with beige lace, and a tie belt. The bridesmaids wore dresses of the same design, one in blue and one in pink. They carried bouquets of green, pink, and blue carnations, white daisies, baby's breath, and leaf greens.

Dennis Rogstad, Beaver Dam, was the best man, while Terrance Rogstad, Lortan, Virginia, and Thomas Johnson, Marshfield, were groomsmen. Dennis Johnson and Clarence Rogstad Jr. performed the duties of ushering the guests.

A dinner followed the ceremony at the church parish hall, and a reception and dance were held at the American Legion Hall, Loyal.

The new Mrs. Rogstad is a 1969 graduate of Marshfield Senior High, and attended Western Wisconsin Tech, La Crosse.

The groom is a graduate of Loyal High School, a 1972 graduate of Residential Design, North Central Technical Institute, Wausau, and is a salesman for Wick Home and carpenter with his father.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Rogstad will make their home in Spencer.
