Beverly was born June 30, 1939, the daughter of Clarence and Elizabeth Dickert. Bev graduated from Wausau High School, attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and received her associate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County. She worked at Wausau Paper before she was married and later as a secretary for Wesley United Methodist Church, the Small Farm Program for the UW Extension, and the Student Affairs Office of the UW Marshfield/Wood County campus. She married Peter Bauer on Dec. 19, 1959, and above all loved her husband, children and grandchildren of whom she was very proud.

She gave uncounted hours to her church as a Sun.school teacher, teacher of teachers, Lay Leader, alto in the choir, cookie walk coordinator, and member of committees at the local, district and conference level of the United Methodist Church. She was also a certified lay speaker, preaching in many churches over the years. She loved God and it showed.

Bev was an avid reader and a member of the First Presbyterian Church Book Club. She delivered Meals on Wheels for many years and walked every year in the Relay for Life. She made quilts, played bridge and pinochle, and was surrounded by many excellent friends.

Beverly is survived by her loving husband, Peter; her children and grandchildren, Beth (John) Burke, Lara and Eileen, Wausau; Karen (Wes) Ebert, Stephan and Julia, Wausau; Brad (Leisa) Bauer, Owen; and Dylan, Madison; and one sister, Patricia Krause, Weston.

She was predeceased by an infant son, Andrew Peter.

Memorials may be designated in her name to the Marshfield Medical Research Foundation.
