Mrs. Langdon of Wausau is the guest of Mrs. John Bever.

 

The Rev. R. M. Smith, president of the Poynette, academy, will preach at the Presbyterian church next Sunday.

 

Miss Alma Hoisington returned here Monday from her home at Iowa. She has been engaged to teach in our school.

 

Miss Kitty Bever who has spent several weeks visiting here, returned to her home at Grand Rapids Monday in order to attend the teacher's institute.

 

S Lobner lost two valuable cows recently under mysterious circumstances. The cows had found some paint and probably poisoned themselves therewith.
