Stolzman, Mildred Pearl (23 Nov. 1908 - 25 Dec. 1998)

MARSHFIELD -- Mildred Pearl Stolzman, 90, 250 Lawrence Ave., Park Falls, formerly of Marshfield, died Fri., Dec. 25, 1998, at Flambeau Hospital, Park Falls, where she was admitted on Dec. 13, 1998, from the Park Manor Nursing Home, Park Falls, where she had lived since 1995. She was born Nov. 23, 1908, in Phlox, the daughter of Frank Hageman and Anna DeBruin.

She attended the Red River School in Town of Norwood, in Phlox. She was married to August F. Stolzman on June 27, 1927, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The couple moved to Marshfield in 1930 where she worked at the Egg Plant during WW II. She then went to Weinbrenner Shoe Company after the war and worked in quality control until her retirement in 1973. She became manager of the Marshfield Eagles Club for several years. She served as president, past president, chaplain and various other positions within the Eagles Auxiliary. She moved to Butternut in 1994. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church for 50 years; a UCT member and of the VFW Auxiliary; a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagle Badger Aerie No. 624 Auxiliary.

She is survived by a daughter, Joan Weis, Butternut; two sons, The Rev. William F. Stolzman, Shakopee, Minn.; and Burnel (Ruthann) Stolzman, Saratoga, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, August, on April 12, 1960.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tues. at St. John's Catholic Church. Helen Brinkmann will be the organist along with St. John's Church Funeral Choir.

Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield, with her son, The Rev. William F. Stolzman officiating.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service at St. John's Catholic Church.

The Rembs / Kundinger Chapel of Marshfield is assisting the family.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Gary, Steven and Michael Weis; and great-grandsons, Jeff and William Kadrlik; and Brian Lenzen.
