Macht, Mark S. (25 Jan. 1954 - 24 Mar. 1979)

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tues. at St. John’s Catholic Church for Mark S. Macht, 25, of 407 Park St. He died at 7 a.m. Sat. at St. Joseph’s Hospital following a car accident Fri. afternoon in Portage County.

The Rev. George C. Passehl will officiate. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Friends may call beginning at 7 tonight and until services Tues. at Rembs/Kundinger Chapel. A vigil service will be at 8:15 tonight.

He was born Jan. 25, 1954 in Marshfield where he attended Sacred Heart Parochial School and graduated in 1972 from Columbus High School. He attended United Technical Institute-Milwaukee majoring in architectural drafting.

He then was employed by Super Sky Products Inc., Thiensville, for three years and later White Cap Ski Resort in Montreal, Wis. At the time of his death, he was returning to Milwaukee for employment once again with Super Sky Products Inc.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Arthur J. (Gertrude H. Hone) Macht; five sisters, Mrs. John (Arlene) Belletire and Miss Gretchen Macht, both of Madison, Miss Susan Macht of Stevens Point, Miss Mary Kay Macht of Lincoln, Neb., and Miss Hannah Macht of Marshfield; and five brothers, Phillip of Oregon, Wis., Jeffrey of Madison, Joseph of La Crosse, Thomas of Marshfield, and Eric of Stevens Point. His father, Dr. Arthur J. Macht, died Oct. 6, 1970.

His five brothers will be pallbearers along with a brother-in-law, John Belletire. For those who wish to give memorials they may be given in the name of Marshfield Medical Foundation.
