Lish, Ruth F. (29 Nov. 1941 - 5 Mar. 2009)

Ruth F. Lish, 67, of Milladore, died on Thur., March 5, 2009, at her home.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Mon. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Milladore.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sun. at Martens/Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI), Junction City, and from 12:30 p.m. until service time Mon. at the church.

Ruth F. Lish, 67, of Milladore, died Thur., March 5, 2009, at her home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Mon. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Milladore. Burial will take place in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sun. at Martens/Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI), Junction City and from 12:30 p.m. until service time Mon. at St. Wenceslaus Church, Milladore. A parish rosary service will be held 7 p.m. Sun. at the funeral home.

Ruth was born Nov. 29, 1941, in Milladore to Fred and Florence (Grassl) Pumper. She attended Milladore schools and was a graduate of P.J. Jacobs High School, Stevens Point. She also was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where she received a bachelor's degree in art education. She taught art at Peshtigo Public School for 30 years until her retirement in 1999.

She married Carl J. Lish in August of 1979. He died Oct. 25, 1989.

Ruth is survived by a daughter, Florence (Mark) Neilitz of Rudolph and two grandchildren, Nathan and Gabrielle Neilitz. She is further survived by brothers and sisters, Fred (Gloria) Pumper of Fond Du Lac, George (Sharon) Pumper of Milladore, Marie Sheldon of Kenosha, Lucille Jankowski, Elizabeth (Doug) Sievwright, Richard (Kathy) Pumper and John (Jean) Pumper, all of Milladore.
