Tyler, Cynthia D. (18 Aug. 14 Mar. 1965 - 2009)

Cynthia D. Tyler, 43, of Marshfield, died Saturday, March 14, 2009, at University Hospital, Madison. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at North Ridge Church, Marshfield. The Rev. Gayland Hendrickson will officiate.

A time of visitation with be held from noon until service time at the church Wednesday. Interment will be in the Mizpah Cemetery in Durant, Miss., at a later date. The Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Cindy Tyler was born Aug. 18, 1965, in Jackson, Miss., the daughter of Francis and Joyce (Ray) Brantley. Cindy received her bachelor's and master's degrees in biology from the University of Central Arkansas.

Cindy was employed as a research biologist with the Arkansas Wildlife and Poultry Commission and in 2008 accepted a position in that same capacity with the Marshfield Clinic.

In addition to being a loving mother and great homemaker, Cindy enjoyed camping and hiking.

She was also an avid reader and enjoyed her studies.

Cindy was associated with the North Ridge Church, Marshfield.

Cindy is lovingly survived by her children, Douglas Tyler, Chicago, Ill., Daniel (Andrea) Tyler, Marshfield, Tanae Tyler, Marshfield, and David Tyler, Conway, Ark. Her mother, Joyce Brantley, Conway, Ark., and her father, Francis Brantley of Durant, Miss., as well as sisters, Christy Kennedy, Richmond, Va., and Valerie (Tomaso) Pye, Denton, Texas further survive Cindy.
