Kellnhofer, L. Norene (Harper) (December 30, 1912 - December 10, 2011)


L. Norene Kellnhofer, 98, Medford, died on Saturday, Dec. 10 at Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center in Medford.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger and Deacon Joseph Stefancin officiating.

Burial was at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Medford. Pallbearers were her grandchildren, Bill Jr. Jody and Jeff Kellnhofer, Mary Kay Johnson, Dan Emmerich and Genny Hahn.


Hemer Funeral Service of Medford assisted the family with arrangements.

1930 Graduate of Medford High School

MARRIAGE INFORMATION:

January 15, 1931 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford to Charles L. Kellnhofer and he preceded her in death on January 5, 2002.

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE:

After their marriage they operated a small dairy farm in the Town of Browning for a period of time where, Norene also raised her children. They then moved to the Town of Medford where she continued to raise her family and during the summer months she worked at the Pea Cannery Factory in Medford. They then moved to the City of Medford where Norene worked at Weather Shield as the office manager and also for the purchasing department under Dale Steinke for 25 years until her retirement in 1981. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, gardening, cooking, canning and traveling. Norene enjoyed bass fishing at her cabin on Richter’s Lake where the locals knew her as the “Bass Lady”.
