Fore, Eileen Lois (Dietze) (September 21, 1937 - November 3, 2011)

Eileen Lois Fore, 74, Palos Park, Ill., died on Thursday, Nov. 3 at Palos Community Hospital.

A memorial service was held on Monday, Nov. 7 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.


Schmaedeke Funeral Home of Worth, Ill., assisted the family with arrangements.

Eileen Lois Fore, nee Dietze, of Palos Park, IL, died Nov. 3, 2011 at Palos Community Hospital at age 74 from complications of Multiple Myeloma, surrounded by her family.

She was born Sept. 21, 1937 in Medford, WI of Gilbert and Martha (nee Pfaff) Dietze, the oldest of four children.

She grew up on a farm in the Deer Creek area of Stetsonville, WI and graduated from Medford High School in 1956.

Eileen moved to Chicago and lived with Milton and Rena Erikson. She met Donald Fore in 1958 and they were married at Elim Lutheran Church, Chicago, IL on Oct. 3, 1959.

They lived in Chicago and had three daughters, Stacy (Ralph) Catron, Susan (Rick) Dralle and Tina (Michael) Deeke. In 1967, they moved to Palos Park, IL. Eileen was a loving wife and mother. She was known for her baking, especially apple pies. She loved to quilt and crochet and donated much of her work to charitable organizations. She enjoyed going fishing.

She was a congregant of Good Sheppard Lutheran Church, Palos Heights, IL. Eileen was known for her kind and generous personality. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, four grandchildren, Lindsey Scott, Kathryn Dralle, Timothy Catron and Erik Dralle and three brothers, Bruce Dietze, Dennis Dietze and Gary Dietze.

She is predeceased by her parents.

Memorial visitation from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 7, 2011 at the Lutheran Church of The Good Shepherd, 7800 W. McCarthy Road, Palos Heights, IL 708-448-4170.
