Zuelsdorff, Ron (March 14, 1938 - December 8, 2008)

Ron Zuelsdorff, age 70, of the Town of Scott, Lincoln County, died Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, at his home, under the care of his family and Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

Ron was born March 14, 1938, son of the late Earl and Ruth (Kudick) Zuelsdorff.

He married Marlene Hackbart on May 31, 1958 in Merrill. She survives.

Ron had been a sales representative with Weather Shield Mfg. in Medford.

He had enjoyed playing softball, hunting and fishing, and bowling. Ron had been a little league coach. He and his wife were the former owners and operators of the Chaparral Supper Club in Whittlesey.

Survivors, in addition to his wife Marlene, include one daughter, Jan Brahmer of Medford; two sons, Rick (Diane) Zuelsdorff of Medford and Tim (Deb) Zuelsdorff of Merrill; 10 grandchildren, Rachel (Phil) Bleile, Andrea (fiancé Jeff Graumann) Zuelsdorff, Mallory (friend Jared Anderson) Zuelsdorff, Chelsey (friend Adam Krug) Zuelsdorff, Adam Zuelsdorff, Nathan Brahmer, Erin (Vince) Wojcik, Jason (friend Amanda Scheels) Brahmer and Megan and Katelyn Zuelsdorff; two great-grandchildren, Isaac Bleile and Addison Brahmer; and one sister, Connie (Ed) Stiver of Merrill.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at Faith Lutheran Church, Town of Maine. Co-officiants will be The Rev. Kevin Hoogland and The Rev. Mark Schoenherr. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at the church.
