Wudi, Barbara Ann (Klemm) (April 26, 1941 - February 14, 2009)

Barbara Ann Wudi, 67, Medford, died Saturday, Feb. 14 at Golden LivingCenter in Rib Lake, under the care of Hope Hospice.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, Feb. 18 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Whittlesey, with Father Gerard Willger and Deacon Joe Stefancin officiating. Interment was at St. Ann's Cemetery in the Town of Greenwood. Pallbearers were John Stauner, Kenny Wegerer, Travis Wegerer, Rich Bruss, Mike Tully, Tom Blair, Dale Stange and Mark Lutz.

The former Barbara Klemm was born April 26, 1941 in Medford to the late Henry and Mary (Schabel) Klemm. She attended Buddy School in the Town of Greenwood and was a 1959 graduate of Rib Lake High School.

On August 29, 1959 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, she married Carl "Chuck" Wudi, who preceded her in death on September 11, 1990. She farmed in the Town of Greenwood her entire life and also was a CNA at the Rib Lake Nursing Home. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, a past CCD teacher and traveled to Louisiana to assist with Hurricane Katrina relief. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, making rosaries for Central American missions, biking, berry picking and sewing. Survivors include three sons, Mike (Cindy) and Mark (Dawn), both of Medford, and Jeff of Phoenix, Ariz.; three daughters, Patty (Tom) Blair of Eau Claire, Peggy (Mark) Lutz of Marshfield and Bonnie (Dale) Stange of Athens; a sister, Margaret Stauner of Greenwood; 17 grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two infant brothers, Floyd and Alvin.

Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.
