Mrs. Ella Soper, 37, passed away on the railroad train at Oklahoma City, Okla., enroute to Chicago from Houston, Texas at 6:00 p.m., May 12, 1951.

The deceased was born in Lublin, Wis., on Feb. 1914, the daughter of Dan and Catherine Majkowicz, both deceased. On May 5, 1934, she was united in marriage to Edward Soper at Lublin. They lived at Hannibal two years and near Medford until 1950. Then, due to ill health she went to Phoenix, Ariz. For a short time and then to Houston, Texas. She was returning home from there with her daughter Betty Anne when she expired.

She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Betty Anne, one sister, Anne, Mrs. Steve Czubakowski of Thorp and 4 brothers, John and Harry of Milwaukee and Steve and Frank of Chicago.

Funeral services were held from the Gilman Funeral Home to the St. Mary’s Orthodox Church at Lublin at ten o’clock Thursday morning. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.
