Bormann, Elaine M. (28 Jan. 1920 – 26 Sept. 2008)

MEDFORD -- Elaine M. Bormann, 88, of Medford died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, at Memorial Nursing & Rehab Center, Medford.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Medford. The burial will at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II.

Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford, and also from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday. She was born Jan. 28, 1920, in Detroit, Mich., to Arthur Krueger and Olga Kissman. She was married to Melvin "Mac" W. Bormann on June 17, 1946, in Iowa. Melvin preceded Elaine in death June 19, 1980. Elaine worked most her life as a homemaker and mother, and also worked at Highway Cleaners for a period before working at Hurd Millwork in Medford until her retirement.

She is survived by son Danny Bormann of Medford; daughters Patsy (Lee) Paustenbach of Medford, Mary Lynn (Michael) Premeau of Tomah, Becky Petersen, Sue (John) Winter and Julie (Sam) Scott of Medford; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and sisters Elsie (Vic) Zimgible of Medford and Carol (Hank) Spencer of Crandon.
