The Misses Beatrice Sweet and Leona Bealer visited school in District No. 2 last Friday afternoon and Tuesday afternoon. The Misses Viola Mundt and Nellie Harriman were callers.

Mrs. Stark visited her son Frank Sweet and family from Monday until Wednesday forenoon.

Mrs. William Carlton of Aniwa visited from Monday until Thursday at the Davis, Snow and Phillips homes.

Dan and Emma Brooks were Marshfield visitors on Monday.

Gurney Sweet left Monday for Park Falls.

John Lindow and wife from Enid, Okla., a cousin of the Lindows here, were her visiting. They, with Arthur Happe and family, Henry Nebel and family and Aug. Lindow's, visited at Chas. Lindow's Sunday.

Sam Fike visited at Neillsville last Friday and Saturday.

Dan Brooks' sale was not very well attended last Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Keuer, A. Montag and 2 sons, Mr. and Mrs. E. Montag and 2 sons attended the sale and visited at D. Brooks'.

The program and basket social in District No. 2 was a grand success. The children did thier part fine. The school house was decorated up fine and a large crowd was out. 42 baskets were sold which brought $22.75. With the proceeds, Jay Waterman, the teacher, will pay $7.00 for a second hand organ they bought, a milk tester has been ordered, also a large pencil sharpener, and the rest will be spent for pictures. Quite a lot of good for our school. Everything was lovely until some of the boys took their baskets outdoors and left their partners without enjoying their suppers. Also will those who had dishes and napkins in their baskets return them to Jay Waterman, and he will see that their owner gets them.

Gerald Davis of Taconite, Minn., is home on a short visit, coming Sunday morning.

Mrs. Otto Reimer and two daughters visited Mrs. J. Davis on Sunday.
