Fenner, Wilma (02 Sept 1961)

A white chiffon street-length gown with a scoop neckline was worn by Wilma Jean Fenner on Saturday, September 2, when she became married to Ralph Lee Sossman of Colby at the Spencer Methodist Church. She was presented in marriage by her father at the 2 o’clock ceremony wearing a crown of rhinestones and pearls which held her chapel length veil. Her bouquet was garnet roses and white stephanotis.

Rev. Ralph Koelemay united the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Fenner of Loyal and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Sossman of Colby.

Attending the bridal pair were Mrs. Jerry Hammond of Milwaukee & Eugene Fenner, the bride’s brother of Unity. Mrs. Hammond wore a blue lace dress with a scoop neckline styled with a satin cummerbund and bow. She carried pink pompoms.

The wedding was attended by the immediate family and a reception was held at the Darrell Sossman home in Abbotsford.

The bride who attended Loyal High School is employed at the Weyerhaeser Company in Marshfield and her husband who is a mechanic at Midway Auto in Colby attended Colby High School. A honeymoon was spent in northern Wisconsin.
