The son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Sternitzky, had Norbert Sternitzky, his cousin from Plymouth, as his best man. Groomsmen were William Ehlers of Greenwood, a cousin of the bride and Ralph Reidel of Granton, a cousin of the groom. The ring bearer was Jeffrey Cherney of Milwaukee.

A reception was held in the church parlors and a dance was given in their honor at the Silver Dome Ballroom in Neillsville.
