Neillsville Locals (11 April1968)

Mr. and Mrs. W. Jay Bruhn and two daughters of Wausau visited Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bruhn.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schoen of the Town of York entertained Sunday in honor of their son, Karl, who was confirmed in St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church by the Rev. Norman Lindloff. Dinner guests at the Schoen home were Mr. and Mrs. Maurice May and Bradley of Milwaukee; Mrs. Amy Lewerenz, Mr. and Mrs. Casper Marty, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Alstot and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence DeMert, all of the Neillsville area.

Mr. and Mrs. Hilton (Bud) Wachholz, Janet and Karen, of Columbus, O., arrived Tuesday to spend the remainder of the week with his mother, Mrs. Leonard Wachholz, and his sister, Mrs. Bill Simek.

Mr. and Mrs. Steven Dwyer and infant daughter, Michele, of Milwaukee, spent the weekend with his grandmother and Michele’s great-grandmother, Mrs. Ruth Dwyer.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jacob and Charlene of Ellsworth were weekend guests at the Paul Jacob and Charles Hubing homes. They also visited Mrs. Jacob’s sister, Mrs. William Hoffmann and baby of Battle Creek, Mich., who are visiting here.

Mr. and Mrs. Emil Watenpuhl and Mrs. and Mrs. Elwood Ladue of Eau Claire, and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lautenbach of Granton, were dinner guests at the Arvid Watenpuhl home in honor of the confirmation of Marilyn Watenpuhl, Sunday by the Rev. Norman Lindloff in St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church
