Underwood, Barbara (27 NOV 1963)

A wedding reception for Pfc. And Mrs. Roger Schuh was held at the village hall at Abbotsford Saturday evening. The newly married couple was given a coin shower by the 200 rleatives and friends in attendance at the recpetion.

Their future home will be Lawton, Okla., where the groom is stationed at Fort Sill, Okla.

Miss Barbara Underwood, daughter of Mrs. Mae Underwood of Dorchester, and Roger Schuh, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Schuh of rural Colby, were united in marriage Wednesday, Nov. 27, 1963 at Wausau. Judge F.G. Loeffler performed the single ring ceremony at one o'clock at the courthouse.

The attendants were Miss Arlene Weideman of Dorchester, aunt of the bride, and Dennis Kuehling of Unity, a friend of the groom.

For her wedding the bride chose a street length dress of gold embroidered white taffeta with three-quarter length sleeves. With it she wore a white pill box hat. Red roses and white pompons were combined in her shoulder corsage.

Her maid of honor was attired in a golden brown wool dress, street length, and three-quarter length sleeves, and black accessories. Her shoulder corsage was made with bronze mums and white carnations.

The bride is a graduate of the Dorchester High School and Eau claire School of Beauty Culture and was employed as a beautician at Wausau.

The groom, a graduate of the Colby High School, was employed at Bezak's Shoe Store in Abbotsford until his induction in the Army in November 1962.
