Lueth, Louise (11 OCT 1880 - 21 NOV 1963)

Funeral services for Mrs. Walter Lueth, 83, who died unexpectedly of complications Thursday night, Nov. 21, 1963, at her home at Abbotsford, were held Monday afternoon at the First Presbyterian Church.

The body was taken from the Polnaszek Funeral Home at noon and lay in state at the church until 2 o'clock when services were conducted by the Rev. Charles E. Glidden. Mrs. Wilbur Kuehnast and Mrs. Myron Greaser sang "Have Thin Own Way" and "In the Garden." Miss Jackie Scheel was their accompanist and organist.

Pallbearers for the interment, which was made in Pine Hill Cemetery at Curtiss, were Paul Degenhardt, Clarence Dolan, Walter Hopperdietzel, Merlin Schuette, Maurice Thompson and Stanley Thomson.

Mrs. Lueth, the former Louise Haese, was born Oct. 11, 1880, at Reedsville and was educated there. She was married in Chicago July 6, 1904, to Walter Lueth. In 1915 the family came to Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), where they farmed until 1942, when Mr. Lueth retired and they came to Abbotsford where they had since resided.

Mrs. Lueth was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband and four sons: Edward of Abbotsford, Fielder of Dorchester, Carl of Abbotsford and Walter Jr. of Curtiss.

There are 18 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. One brother, John Haese of Reedsville, also survives.

Preceding her in death were a daughter, a son and nine brothers and sisters.
