Wallace, Kenneth Earl (13 November 1929 - 16 January 2013) With Flag

Kenneth Earl Wallace, 83, passed away peacefully Jan. 16, 2013, with his family at his side. He was born Nov. 13, 1929, in Neillsville to Kenneth and Dorothy Wallace. He was the beloved husband of Mary (nee Gardner); father of Kevin (Laurie), Karen (Mike) Campagnolo and Kathleen (Dennis) Eakright; grandfather of Justin (Michelle), Alyson, Ryan, Lauren, Ethan, Nicholas (Colleen), Sarahann (Matt), William, Carolyn and Robert; brother-in-law of Edward (Sue) Gardner; uncle of many. He is also survived by three brothers, Richard (Florence), Wallace (Carol) and Orin (Brenda).

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Ronald and Daniel.

Kenneth served in the U. S. Army in the Korean War. His favorite pastimes were the Green Bay Packers, swimming, bowling, bingo and walking. He worked for Walgreens for over 30 years.

Visitation for Kenneth will be held Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.; at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 Spring Rd, Elmhurst, IL. There will be prayers at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at the funeral home, then going to Visitation Church, 779 S. York St., Elmhurst, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated for St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Rd, Huntley, IL 60142.
