Harriman, Lucretia A. (23 APR 1829 - 5 MAR 1897)

Died at her home in the town of Fremont, Clark County, Wis., March 5th, 1897, of pneumonia, Mrs. Lucretia A. Harriman, 67 years, 10 months and 10 days.

Lucretia stone was born at Parishville, N.Y., Apr. 23rd, 1829, where on June 19th, 1852, she was united in marriage to Walter Harriman.

In the spring of 1881 they came to Wisconsin, settling on the farm which was their home until death claimed them.

About five years ago her husband was thrown from a wagon and instantly killed, since which time their son Leonard has faithfully cared for his mother.

For about two years her health has steadily failed and although death came suddenly it was not altogether unexpected.

She leaves two children, a son Leonard, who will remain at the old home, and a daughter, Mrs. Frank Davis, of Chili, Wis.

The funeral services, conducted by Rev. B.E. Smith of Lindsey, were held Sunday afternoon, well attended by neighbors and friends who knew her only to love her, who spoke of her only to praise.
