Fields, Alfred (1838 - 28 MAR 1896)


Alfred Fields died Saturday, March 28, 1896, at his home in the town of Levis, Clark County, at the age of 57 years.

The deceased was a soldier in the Civil War, and on his coffin was the plain but suggestive inscription , "Comrade".

He leaves a wife, four sons and two daughters to mourn his loss.

The funeral services were held in the town hall, Rev. Hill officiating, and the remains were interred in the Levis Cemetery.
