Catlin, Eldon W. (12 DEC 1926 - 1 DEC 1984)


Eldon W. (Curly) Catlin, age 57, of 1503 Stoughton Av. In Tomah, died on Saturday, Dec. 1, 1984, in the Tomah Care Center.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Congregational Church in Tomah by the Tomah Masonic Lodge No. 132, and at 3:15 p.m. by the Rev. Calvin Helming. Burial will be at a later date at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Tomah.

He was born Dec. 12, 1926 in Loyal, Clark County, to Perle and Anna (nee Johnson) Catlin. He married Margaret Reiprich on June 30, 1945 in Albia, Iowa.

He was a member of the National Guards, the Tomah Masonic Lodge No. 132 and the United Commercial Travelers of America Club.

Surviving are his wife two daughters, Miss Paula Catlin, Tomah and Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Zook, Leola, Pa. seven brothers, Melford of Sarasota, Fla., Marion of Scottsdale, Ariz., Verne of Rhinelander, Havey of Mountain Home, Ark., Jerome of Merrill, Carrol of Appleton, Richard of Eau Claire two sisters, Mrs. Rose Herman and Mrs. Lawrence Schubert, both of Marshfield and two grandchildren.

Ninneman-Steel Funeral Home in Tomah is in charge of the arrangements.
