Lamovec, Helen (13 JUN 1922 - 10 FEB 1984)


Mrs. Frank (Helen) Lamovec, 61, of 316 S. Andrews, Greenwood, Clark County, died at 8:20 p.m., Friday, Feb. 10, 1984, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lamovec were at 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 13, 1984, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. Rev. James Lesczynski officiated and burial was in the catholic cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Mike Klapatauskas, Art Kolstad, Cyril Rakovec, Frank Debevec, Tony Gosar Sr. and John F. Trunkel. Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, handled arrangements.

Helen Brezic was born to John and Mary (nee Marinshek) Brezic on June 13, 1922, at Milwaukee. She received her education at Greenwood Schools.

On Nov. 16, 1940, she and Frank Lamovec were married at Willard. After their marriage, they farmed in the Town of Hendren for many years, retiring and moving to Greenwood in 1980. She worked at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville, for seven years.

Surviving her are her husband, Frank three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Judy) Bauer of Thorp, Mrs. Larry (Mary Jean) Hadzima of Neillsville and Miss Germaine Lamovec of Marshfield one son, Jerry of Willard 15 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

She was predeceased by her parents.
