Elpert, William L. (5 JUN 1949 - 4 JUN 1985)


William L. Elpert, 35, of Unity, died Tuesday, June 4, 1985, at home.

Rev. David Ault officiated at the funeral services held at Rux Funeral Home, Colby, June 6. Burial will be in the Colby Memorial Cemetery.

Elpert was born June 5, 1949 in Marshfield, to Edward and Carman (nee Schmidtke) Elpert. He attended school in Loyal, Clark County and was employed as a cheesemaker at Welcome Dairy in Colby.

Elpert was also a member of the Unity American Legion and served in Vietnam with the U.S. Army.

Survivors are his mother, Carman seven brothers, Dennis, Richard, Thomas, James, Robert, Darrel of Unity and Kenneth, Loyal three sisters, Susan, Unity Sandra, Spencer and Mrs. Hazel Schmidtke, Hillsboro.

Elpert's father, Ewald, preceded him in death Sept. 27, 1976, and a sister also preceded him in death.

Rux Funeral Home handled arrangements.
