Delo, Rosa (24 MAY 1892 - 16 FEB 1985)


Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 19, 1985, at United Methodist Church, Loyal, for Rosa Delo, 92, of Route 1, Loyal, Clark County. Mrs. Delo died on Feb. 16, 1985.

Officiating at the service was Rev. C. Arlene Denzer. Burial was in the Loyal Cemetery. Rinka Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Rosa Wichman was born to Henry and Louisa (nee Mertens) Wichman on May 24, 1892, in Sheboygan. She received her education at Sheboygan Schools.

On July 31, 1912, she was married to Henry Delo at Plymouth. After their marriage, they farmed in Sheboygan until 1919, when they moved to the Town of Beaver, where they farmed.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Surviving her are three sons, Victor of Milwaukee, Jerome of Loyal and Merlin of Loyal one brother, Orville Wichman of Loyal one sister, Mrs. Lawrence (Evelyn) Firnstahl of Loyal 23 grandchildren 33 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, on March 16, 1974 one sister one brother and her parents.

Serving as pallbearers were grandchildren Clay, Rick, Donald, Wayne, Rodney and Les Delo.
