Everyone is invited to join the Denk Family Singers of Loyal Wednesday, July 15, on a sentimental musical journey; eight siblings and one niece will serenade attendees under the stars at the Tufts’ Mansion Bed and Breakfast in Neillsville from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Sharon Schoonover (Denk) and Diane Anderegg (Denk) are the only two siblings who still reside in Loyal. Sister Patricia Denk and youngest sibling Gordy Denk live in Marshfield.

Kathy Hutchinson (Denk) lives in Stratford.  Linda Newcommer (Denk) will fly in from Woodbridge, VA; Vonnie Denk will travel from Hamilton, OH.  Jeff Denk and his 18-year-old daughter, Mary Denk, will travel from Long Beach, CA to perform.

Sharon, Diane, Vonnie, Kathy, Patricia and Linda will perform songs from the McGuire Sisters.  Jeff Denk will sing original songs, including "Hello Mama" in tribute to his 97-year-old mother, Mary Denk, who will sit in the audience.

Gordy Denk will play original songs and sing one he wrote about his hometown called "Loyal Wisconsin."  Niece Mary Denk, in keeping with the family tradition, will perform original songs from her current CD.  Mary plays and sings country music.

Although it may seem like more than eight people singing together, one can be assured siblings Christy, Kenny and Terry Denk will add their harmonies from their front row seat in heaven.

Those who haven’t had the pleasure of hearing the sweet harmonies of the Denk family are in for a wonderful and memorable evening.  Refreshments are available.

The Tufts’ Mansion is located one-half block north of USH 10 on STH 73 at 26 Hewett Street.  All proceeds will go to the St. Anthony’s school fund.

Also joining the Denks on bass guitar is Laurie "bass" Beaver, formerly of Loyal and now living in Marshfield and his brother Denny (Arizona) Beaver playing steel guitar.
