INGA MARIE HANSEN/OTTO ARNOLD ANDERSON MARRIAGE

At the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Anderson, Thursday evening, Oct. 31, 1901, at eight o'clock, occurred the marriage of two of Greenwood, Clark County's popular young people. Otto Arnold Anderson to Inga Maria Hansen. The couple was attended by F. W. Anderson of this city and the bride's sister, Sophie Hansen of Unity. Rev. W. E. Kloster pronounced the marriage vows, using the M. E. Ring ceremony.

The bride's gown was a pretty light blue albatross trimmed in white silk and chiffon. Her hair was adorned with bride's roses and she also carried some in her hand.

The ceremony was witnessed by a large number of relatives and near friends, who remembered the new husband and wife with a generous list of presents, consisting of every conceivable article of beauty or usefulness, including some of the prized household necessities. At nine o'clock the bridal party and guests partook of a generous wedding supper.

Each of these worthy young people is well and pleasantly known by most of the local Gleaner readers. The bride, who is the daughter of Mrs. Olette Hansen of Longwood, has spent the past four years in Greenwood attending the school here and for the past two years has been a trusted clerk in the Foster Mercantile Co. store, where by her pleasant manners and genial disposition she has made a host of friends. The groom is one of Greenwood's Scions and is the agent for the Fairchild North-Eastern Railroad at the local station.

Their numerous friends, among whom the Gleaner is glad to be counted, wish Mr. and Mrs. Anderson a happy and prosperous voyage on their matrimonial sea. They have settled down to housekeeping in rooms over the E. S. Donaldson Co. hardware store. Those from out of town present at the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Chris Nelson, Mrs. N. Evenson and Sophie Hansen from Unity, Mr. and Mrs. Nels Sorenson, Carl and Inga, and Will Kuester from Withee, Mrs. Julius Sorenson, Carl, Henry, Celia and John Sorenson, Mr. and Mrs. P.C. Johnson, Ole Mathewson, Ole Jorgenson, Nora Sorenson, James Peterson and the bride's mother, Mrs. Olette Hansen, from Longwood and J. T. Fatzinger, Fairchild.
