Sylvester L. "Vet" Marsh

 

 

Sylvester L. "Vet" Marsh was born February 26, 1858 in Wisconsin and died in Of Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz County, California.  While living in Clark County, Wisconsin, he worked as a Postmaster.  April 13, 1882, he was married at the O'Neill House in Neillsville, Wisconsin to Miss Leonie Pierrelee.  He platted the village of Granton in Grant Township and became its first postmaster.
