Keene, Emma (Marriage - 2 NOV 1895)

Saturday evening, Nov. 2, 1895, two of the members of the Kinsey Komedy Ko. Were united in the holy bonds of wedlock. George O. Webber and Miss Emma Keene were the contracting parties. The ceremony was performed by Justice L. J. Glass.

Immediately after the last act of the show, Whitcomb's Orchestra, which had been engaged expressly for the occasion, played an overture, and as soon as it was finished the curtain was rung up and the ceremony performed. As soon as the words were uttered that made them one, a shower of rice was hurled upon and around them from the orchestra and gallery. After the ceremony was completed the orchestra took their places upon the stage and an impromptu dance was given by the company in which all were invited.

The Kinsey Komedy Ko. Held the boards at the opera house in this city (Neillsville, Clark County) all of last week and made a host of friends, and through all proved themselves thorough ladies and gentlemen. The best wishes of all go with, not only the bride and groom, but with the entire company in their future wanderings, and may success follow them.
