MARGUERITE THRAPP/RYA LAVIN MARRIAGE


Miss Marguerite Thrapp and Mr. Ray Lavin, both of Madison, were united in marriage at Rockford, Ill. Oct. 28, 1927.
The bride is well known here (Greenwood, Clark County), and has visited at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. W.R. Howard, many times.


The following is taken from the Madison State Journal:
Mrs. James Ray Lavin, recent bride, who was before her marriage, Miss Marguerite LaVerne Thrapp, has been honored at a number of social functions recently.


Mrs. Lavin was entertained at a shower at the home of Mrs. N. F. Cramton, Norris Court, Tuesday. The guests were: Misses Mary Brades, Jessie Bentz, Bell Traynor, Eleanor Gilberston and Peggy Hagen, and Mrs. Chester Baken and Mrs. H. S. Thrapp.


Mrs. Lavin's mother, Mrs. B. H. Schoonover, entertained for her at a dinner for relatives Wednesday evening.
