Mr. and Mrs. Alec Witt of Big Falls are the guests of his brother A.C.F. Witt and family.

Misses Etta and Emma Altenburg, Hattie Schultz, and Mrs. Lester Shafer left Tuesday for Green Bay where they will visit relatives and on their return will visit Mrs. O.W. Becker at Appleton.

Miss hazel Washburn visited friends at Neillsville this week.

Mrs. F.A. Downing of Millston visited her sister Mrs. R. T. Washburn last week.

Mrs. Mable Scholtz visited friends south of Neillsville last Saturday and Sunday.

Mrs. Chas. Helm entertained the Carnation Art Club last Wednesday.

L. Elmhorst put a new furnace in his house just recently.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ure are cozily settled in the rooms over the John Breseman store.

John Breseman is digging a cellar under his store and will put his in a new stone wall. Fred and Martin Breseman are doing the work.

R.T. Washburn transacted business at Marshfield Thursday.

Mrs. C. Montag just returned from a visit at Chili and on Tuesday left for Neillsville to visit her sister for a week.

Mrs. James Sternitzky visited relatives at Marshfield last week.

The particulars of the marriage of Misses Ruby and Gertrude Martin to Wm. Dankemyer and Arno Ross will be found on another page of this paper. The wedding was one of the most beautiful ever had in this place.
