Beaver, Clara (13 July 1889-16 July 1961)

A Requiem High Mass was held Wednesday, July 19th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church for Mrs. William (Clara) Beaver, aged seventy-two, who died at her home Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Death was caused by a lingering illness. Father Norbert E. King officiated at the Mass and burial was made in the parish cemetery.

St. Mary’s Altar Society of which Mrs. Beaver was a member, held Rosary service at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Myre Funeral Home and a General Rosary service was held Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. The body was lying in state at the funeral home from Monday evening until the time of the services on Wednesday.

Pallbearers were James Bertz, Percy Voight, Lenius Hoeser, Paul Bauer, Joe Hubing and Oscar Fricke.

Mrs. William Beaver, the former Clara Atteln was born July 13, 1889 at Norwalk, in Monroe County, Wisconsin. She attended school in Norwalk. She came to Loyal when she was about 11 years old and lived here the rest of her life except for two years spent in Janesville. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and St. Mary’s Altar Society. She was married to John Schwieso, May 13, 1909 at Loyal. He died in April 1921. She married William Beaver of Loyal April 21, 1925 at Loyal. She is survived by her husband and three daughters and two sons. One daughter preceded her in death. The daughters are Evelyn-Schwieso of Loyal, Mrs. Veronica Schwieso Giesel of Chicago and Mrs. Donald Cole, the former Jeanette Beaver of Loyal. The sons are Theodore Schwieso of Loyal and Donald Beaver of Loyal. She is also survived by thirty grandchildren & one sister, Mrs. Eleanor Bade of Minneapolis.
