J. A. Janes was buried Sunday in the Sherwood cemetery.

Ed. Janes and wife and baby arrived Saturday night from Detroit, Mich. to attend his father’s funeral.

D. Janes has his household goods moved in the Fred Canfield house and is at present staying with his mother. His wife and children have not come yet on account of sickness.
Mrs. John Clark drove to Shortville Monday with her niece Mrs. Darvin Wallace who will visit at the Robert Machel home before returning to Stevens Point.

The lady preachers are still preaching to a large crowd nights in the town hall.

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Andy Anderson January 22.

Sadie Ziemendorf is recovering from a severe attach of quiney.
