Granton (16 November 1967)

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hillert, Sr., visited in Tomah with their son, Ted Hillert and family.

Miss Elaine Trimberger of Menasha spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Trimberger.

Mr. and Mrs. George Hales of Rural Granton spent a weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hainz in Milwaukee.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Searls and daughter have returned from Milwaukee, where they spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Grand.

Durward Schwarze spent a few days as a medical patient in Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Boysen and family of Villa Park, Ill., were guests a few days recently of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Manford Cain.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Winkler and family were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Scharf in Milwaukee.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cain and family of Lemont, Ill., spent last week Friday and Saturday with relatives and friends in Marshfield and visited Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Manford Cain.

The regular meeting of the Zion Lutheran Ladies Aid was held in the church parlors. Plans were made to have a Christmas party at the next meeting. The party will include a program and a potluck lunch.

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Pietenpol are planning to leave later this month to spend the winter in Arizona.
