Rybski, Wilma Lee (09 FEB 1963)

St. Anthony’s Catholic Church was the setting Saturday morning for the wedding of Wilma Lee Rybski, Loyal, and James John Pernsteiner, route 2, Loyal.  Rev. Norbert E. King officiated at the 10 o’clock ceremony which united the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Rybski, Loyal and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pernsteiner, Sr. route 2, Loyal.

For her wedding the bride chose a ballerina length gown featuring a lace bodice and sleeves, the bodice being trimmed with seed pearls and iridescent sequins.  The scalloped neckline was highlighted by a white spinel stone necklace which was a gift of the bridegroom.

Her fingertip veil was caught to a crown of seed pearls and sequins and she carried yellow roses with green ivy.

The bridal aides – Laura Rybski, a cousin of the bride from Oaklawn, Illinois and Mary Ann Pernsteiner, a niece of the groom from Granton, were seen in blue dresses with lace jackets styled with a cummerbund.  They carried cascade arrangements of pink and white carnations.

A sister of the bride, Yvonne Rybski was the flower girl.  The bride’s mother chose a blue dress in a Georgette fabric for the wedding and the groom’s mother wore a blue sheath dress.  They both used black accessories and were presented with corsages of pink and white carnations.

Joseph Pernsteiner of Granton and Steven McNeely of Loyal, both nephews of the groom, served as best man and groomsman respectively.  Ushers were Tommy Pernsteiner, Granton, and Herman Pernsteiner, Medford, also nephews of the groom.

A reception was given at the Loyal Amusement Hall in the afternoon with a dinner being served at 2 o’clock at the church hall for 100 guests.  A dance was held in the Loyal Amusement Hall during the evening.

The bride is a 1962 graduate of Loyal High School and her new husband attended school in Medford and Loyal High School.  The groom is engaged in farming and they will make their new home with his parents on route 2, Loyal.  A honeymoon trip has been postponed until spring.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Pernsteiner were honored guests at two pre-nuptial showers – the first being given by Mrs. Hank Vogel and Mrs. Katherine Pope on January 10, and the second, a coin shower at K Corners on January 13.

Wedding guests attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Herman Pernsteiner and family, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Pernsteiner and family, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Pernsteiner and family, Medford; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pernsteiner, Jr. and family, Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Rybski and family, Oaklawn, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. Dan Carmack, Evergreen Park, Illinois; Miss Bonnie Goodbrand, Greenwood; Mrs. Melvin Bauman, Marshfield; Mrs. Pat Lewis, Dousman; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Brecht, Unity.
