Mayme Gardner, ill with appendicitis, is at the Eau Claire hospital since Wednesday. Her parents and Dr. Rath accompanied her there.

Fernando Johnson is home from Dakota since late last week. He went west to see a brother who is very ill with typhoid fever.

Mrs. Lillis Converse went to Eau Claire Wednesday.

Miss Bessie Gardner is helping Mrs. Otto Yordi with her household duties the past week.

Howard Erwin has a new Ford car since Friday.

Fred Hankey has a new furnace installed in his home, two weeks since.

Fred Hantke was a Marshfield visitor Wednesday.

Miss Florence Converse is visiting Mrs. John Stetler at Muscogee since early last week.

Hazel Chapel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Chapel, suffered an attack of appendicitis last week.

Miss Mabel Williams of Neillsville High School did practice teaching here under Miss Clara Wilke Monday and Tuesday, and while her was the guest of her aunt, Mrs. Amelia Converse.

Miss Eva Barber of Loyal assisted Mrs. Frank Jahr with her work this week.

The Oscar Jahr family has a handsome new Stark Plane bought of H.H. Eberhardt of Neillsville, this week.

Mrs. G.W. Squires of Madison, after a visit of several weeks at Lew Smith's, went home Tuesday.
