Huhn, Charles (9 JUN 1877 - 2 JUL 1963)

Charles Huhn, Colby, who was 86 June 9, died Tuesday, July 2, 1963, at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Krueger, route 1, Colby.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 5 at 2:30 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, with the Rev. Leroy Urman officiating. The body will lie in state at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby.

Mr. Huhn was born at Cleveland, Wis. June 9, 1877. He married the former Louisa Marquardt on June 28, 1906, and the couple settled on a farm in the town of Hull.

Six sons and a daughter survive. They are Ferdinand, Milan; Neal, Colby; Milton, Tomahawk; Errol, Cadott; Orrin, Marengo; Franklin, Boston; and Mrs. Arnold (Lois) Krueger.

His wife died in 1933 and a daughter, Mrs. Arion (Regina) Brotherton, preceded him in death.

He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a brother, William, of Cleveland, Wis.
