Mrs. Ralph Mayhew and Mrs. Frank Preston entertained the following at the Mayhew home Friday evening: The R. T. Washburn, Matt (?) Opelt and John Martin families. The evening was pleasantly spent in games, and a good time was had by all. Refreshments were served.

The feather bee at Otto Yankee’s was well attended.

Miss Anna Teatz who has employment in the Marshfield asylum spent from Saturday night till Monday morning at her home here.

Grandma Krause is spending a few days with her daughter Mrs. Chas. Bass.

Paul Goebel cut feed for his bro. John Saturday.

Raymond Reed who has been staying with the Herman and Otto Yankee families the past six months will leave for his home in Chicago Friday. His aunt Miss Lydia Yankee and Mrs. Otto Yankee and two children will accompany him home.

[first name] (?) Wiesner helped his father Chas. Wiesner saw wood Saturday.

Henry Shier had the misfortune to cut his face on a spliting [sic] hammer. Dr. Schultz dressed the wound.

Miss Lydia Worchel who has spent the past two weeks with Mrs. John Goebel returned to her home on the Ridge, Sunday.

Mrs. Chas. Bass and daughter Nita spent Saturday in Neillsville.

August Teatz was a business caller in Granton, Monday.

Alvin and Leo Grassman attended the dance at Brook Saturday night.

J. J. Herman was a business caller in Neillsville, Saturday.

James Krause is hauling wood to Neillsville for Herman Krause.

Elsie Grassman of Granton spent Sunday at her home here.

Mr. and Mrs. John Speiser visited Mr. and Mrs. Lucas Hale in Lynn Sunday afternoon.
