Lee Kidd was a Neillsville visitor Friday.

Miss Lottie Krause spent Friday with friends at Marshfield.

Dr. P.M. Ross autoed up from Milwaukee on Tuesday.

Mrs. Chas. Neinas spent Wednesday at Marshfield.

Miss Ora Davis is teaching at Chili again this year.

Wm. Valleau of Ashland left here for Wausau last week Wednesday.

Mrs. Fred Dopp and son Leland visited old friends at Chili last Friday.

Miss Julia Bentz came home from Milwaukee on Saturday.

Mrs. Homer King arrived hoemr from Beach, N.D. on Wednesday.

Mrs. Adolph Grobe of Merrill is visiting at Rev. Reiff's since last Saturday.

Miss Eunice Lloyd visited Neillsville friends on Wednesday.

Mrs. Fred Cole will entertain The Circle next Wednesday.

Wm. Crosby was somewhat under the weather several days last week.

Miss Bertah Barth is spending the week with her parents near Chili.

Mrs. Orren Hickox went to Neillsville Tuesday on a visit to home folk.

Mrs. Wm. Marg went to Marshfield Tuesday on a visit to her friends and old neighbors there.

Miss Edith Kempin went home to Chili on Saturday.

Miss Ottillie Wiesner came home from Marshfield and made an over Sunday visit.

B. Tykac of the One Horse Farm has his big hip roof barn up and nearing completion.

Mrs. Leonard Cole continued ill with pleurisy at Ogdensburg and Mr. Cole joined her there again Monday night.

Master Ross Downer, bare footed last Sunday at Grandma Osgood's, stepped on a broken bottle and cut his right foot severely.

Miss Cleo Daughhetee of Colby, who visited at Camp Douglas and with Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Rose of this village, went home on Friday.

Mrs. J.P. Johnson and son Loren of Nebraska arrived her two weeks ago and are since visiting her parents, Mrs. And Mrs. Sam Furgeson.

Loretta Armstrong, after a 5 day visit with relatives in the Willis Williams family, went home to Chili on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin Klinger of Merrill, after a visit at Carl Lange's in York, continued on home Saturday.

Mrs. Geo. Redman of Route 4 was a Neillsville visitor Saturday and is visiting relatives in Chicago since early this week.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Mice of Fall Lake are visiting the Clemens, Oscar and Reinhold Kuechenmeister family this week.

Martin Debauer of Loyal bought Perry Benedict's 60 acre farm near York and expects to take possession early next month.

Henry Riedel of Cayuga, after a week's visit here with his brother F.J. and sister, Miss Bertha, continued on to Loyal last week Thursday. His sister Miss Bertha and niece Miss Emma Riedel made the trip with him in Miss Emma's car.

Webb Winn is a patient in Trinity Hospital, Milwaukee, since Wednesday of last week, when he submitted to an operation there for a trouble of long standing. His daughter Miss Ruby, a profession nurse, and his wife are with him there.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Prange, who were callers to Sheboygan last week by the sudden death of her father, returned home Sunday night, accompanied by her brother, Ed Schoneboom, who will make an extended visit here.

L.A. Schneider has sold his cheese factory in the town of York to M.C. Mertens of Valders and bought a farm near Valders. He says farming is by no means new to him, but we will venture to say he will eventually return to the cheese making business.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Snyder and daughter Miss Florence Snyder, after a 5 day visit between the Grant Snyder, John and Fred Pizer families, went home to Richland Center Monday accompanied by Miss Beatrice Snyder, who went to Union Center for a visit.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Downer wish through these columns, to thank their kind neighbors and friends for the courtesies and many kindnesses shown Mrs. Downer and family during her late illness and hospital stay.

Mrs. John Trimberger and son Victor, and Miss Amelia Trimberger arrived home from their visit at Racine, Sheboygan and other state points on Monday.

We are advised that Attorney Victor E. Pierrelee, a former well known Granton boy, now of Ashland, suffering with rheumatism, is upon advice of his brother-in-law Dr. Hugh Schofield of Chicago, being moved in that city, again this week for another extensive course of treatments.

Mrs. John Vandeberg is home from a 6 week stay at a hospital in Rochester, Minn., since Tuesday, convalescing after a serious operation, and yesterday called upon with her husband, to go to St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield with their 17-year-old daughter Ruth, who is ill with appendicitis.

Master Ernest Schroeder, a son of Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Schroder of Route 3, is very ill with typhoid fever the past ten days. Miss Coba Shotz of Veefkind, his nurse for two weeks past, was summoned home yesterday to care for one of her brother's children who is ill with the same trouble. Another nurse from out of town arrived on the afternoon train and is since caring for Master Ernest.
