Megan Lynn Zocher and Jason John Orth were united in marriage on May 26, 2012 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Abbotsford. Father Hackel presided.

The bride is the daughter of Dave and Ellie Block, Dorchester; and Robert Zocher, Athens. Her husband is the son of Gene and Diane Orth, Colby.

Megan graduated from Colby High School in 2007 and is attending Mid-State Technical College as a medical assistant. She is currently employed at St. Joseph’s Hospital as an obstetric technician.

Jason graduated from Colby High School in 2004 and is currently employed with Foremost Farms in Milan.

Flower girl was Kylie Orth, Unity, godchild of the groom. Ring-bearer was Dylan Block, Dorchester, godchild of the bride.

Maid of honor was Monica Block, Dorchester, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Shari Preisinger, Colby, friend of the couple; Jenna Barnett, Edgar, cousin of the bride; Chara Stange, Loveland, CO, sister of the groom; and Jana Strasburg, Larson, sister of the groom.

Best mad was Brad VanHecker, Eau Claire, friend of the couple. Groomsmen were Ryan Stock, Dorchester, friend of the couple; Adam Molitor, Abbotsford, friend of the couple; Craig Orth, Unity; brother of the groom; Benji Orth, Medford, brother of the groom.

Ushers were Lee Orth, Marshfield, cousin of the groom, and James Tischendorf, Dorchester, cousin of the bride.

Music during the ceremony was provided by Kathy Slipek and Kim Meier.

A reception was held at Stetsonville Centennial Hall, with music provided by Bad Influence.

The couple honeymooned in Cody, WY.

The couple lives in Dorchester.
