Greenwood (29 June 1967)

Mrs. William Kuester held a quilting bee at her home one day last week. Those present were Mrs. Adolph Jackson, Mrs. Erwin Toburen, Mrs. Norbert Kuester, Mrs. Alma Busch, Mrs. Olga Reineking, Mrs. Lydia Dill and Mrs. Leon Kuester and Delores. The ladies were joined by their husbands for a bratwurst fry for supper.

Mrs. Henry Keiner entertained members of the Hi-Spades club at her home last week Wednesday evening.

Mr. Hazel Helwig has moved from Eau Claire into her home on South Main Street.

Mrs. Louise Ellingson left last week Wednesday for Menomonee Falls to visit at the James Ellingson home.

Mrs. Leland Mayenschien and children, and Miss Kathleen McConnell, arrived Monday from Milwaukee to visit their parents, Mr. and Mrs. James McConnell.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kessler, Sr., of Chicago, spent Sunday with their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Franz. They were enroute to Hayward.

Recent guests at the Leon Kuester home were Mr. and Mrs. Dave Shorey of Barronett, Mrs. Maude Klessman of Waukegan, Ill., Mrs. Elsie Kruger of Wauconda, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Claude Catlin of Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Bell of Neillsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart spent last Thursday evening with the Robert Stewart family in Stanley.

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Dueysen of Ojai, Calif. visited last week Wednesday at the Thomas Erickson home.

Recent dinner guests of Mrs. John Zepaltas were Brother Cyprian, Sister Bernita, Sister Paul and Sister Reginal, all of Lisle, Ill. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Gracyalny and family. Kathy Zepaltas accompanied them on their return to Fond du Lac for a visit.
