Miss Elsie Johnson returned to her school in Levis Monday.

Linton Jahr is recovering from an attack of the grip.

Lue Smith left Tuesday morning for a visit with relatives in Westfield.

Clarence Salisbury is working for Ara Lee.

Mrs. Earnest Lee, with her brother's family were guests at Mike Dorst's on Friday last.

Earnest Schmidtke is looking after the farm for Lue Smith while he is at Westfield.

Mrs. Amelia visited at Ed. Coil's Sunday and Monday of this week.

Will Schaarf is suffering with a very sore hand which he injured fighting fire.

Miss Florence Converse has been spending the week with her sister Mrs. Ed. Coil.

Mrs. Frank Gardner is again able to be out.  The children are also getting over the measles.

Free Converse has sold his farm to Gus Bergeman of Granton.  Mr. Converse has lived on his farm for many years, but owing to his failing health has decided to take life a little easier.  While we will be sorry to lose “Uncle Free†and his good wife from among us, we are pleased to hear they will probably make their home near us in Granton.
