A gown of chantilly lace over tulle detailed with sequins, long sleeves and a Sabrina neckline was worn by Arlene Joyce Schaefer for her marriage to Roger Lee of Chili on Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church. The daughter of Arthur Schaefer, Spencer, held a round shower of red roses and swansonia with white carnations through the center.

Her attendants frocks were of imported silk orgamza over taffeta, styled in ballerina length with a scoop neckline and draped bodice. Maid of honor, Carol Fensome of Minneapolis, Minnesota, wore hers in shrimp color & bridal aides, Mrs. Donald Schmidtke of Spencer and Mrs. Delbert Sloniker of Stetsonville were in turquoise. They carried nosegays of Mayday roses and swansonia with ribbons to match their dresses. Bonnie Wienke of West Bend was flower girl and ring bearer was Gary Harriman of Chili.

The Rev. V. A. Ganz officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony during which Karen Haselow sang “The Voice that Breathed over Eden”, “Today, O Lord” and “The Lord’s Prayer”. She was accompanied by Jean Noeldner. The bride’s father presented her in marriage.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel Lee, Chili, chose Eldon Lee of Chili to be his best man. Groomsmen were Donald Schmidtke and Delbert Sloniker of Spencer. Ushers were James Lee of Spencer, a cousin of the groom and Norbert Lee, Chili, a brother of the groom.

A reception was held at the church hall which was decorated with white, turquoise and shrimp streamers. Dinner was served at 6:30 to the immediate relatives and a dance was held at the Silver Dome Ballroom.

The bride attended Loyal High School and was employed by Berg Corporation. Her husband graduated from Granton High School, Wisconsin State College and the Institute of Technology at Platteville. He is employed as a vocational agriculture teacher. The couple will make their home in Luxemburg, Wis.
