Mr. Francis Osgood died at his home here Sunday evening, June 3, death being due to paralysis.

F.W. Davis has so far recovered as to be able to ride over to his son Truman’s on Sunday.

Solon Davis drove to Heathville Friday to see his brother Whiston, who had the day before suffered a stroke of paralysis, leaving him unable to even swallow.

Mrs. S.R. Davis is laid up with rheumatism.

Ira Davis, daughter and granddaughter from Greenwood drove down late last week to see the former’s brother-in-law, Frant Osgood.

The Mesdames Wesley and Lester Schaefer made a weekend visit at Will Schaefer’s her.

Jennie Ackerman close her school at Harris Spur, where she taught 3 years in succession, last Friday.

The Messrs. Geo. Wilson, W. Potter, H. Fradette and G. Frei are the new patrons as the factory this month.

Max Treichel has a large Durac Jersey hog which has some peculiar habits, one of which is to lie in the creek by the hour and has often been taken for dead; but proved himself quite alive and equal to the occasion the other day when his master and lady friend autoed out from Neillsville and took his picture.

Truman Davis is having his buggy shed and garage floor cemented.

H. Fradette has a well drilled last week and Ed Ackerman is having one drilled this week.

We notice that for want of a housekeeper Max Treichel and Ben Doede have filled the living rooms at the factory with cheese boxes. Now girls get busy.

Mr. and Mrs. Ackerman took dinner with Mrs. Aug. Happe last Sunday and brought Miss Jennie home with them.
