Mr. and Mrs. Max Opelt and children Maxie and Martha visited friends in Lynn Sunday.

Pearl Tilton of Lindsey transacted business here in this place Friday.

Mrs. Claire Marsh and children leave this week for Milwaukee to visit relatives and later will leave for her home in California.

Weland Christman and family visited at Au. Gotter’s Sunday.

Miss Elsie Neitzel close a very successful term of school in District No. 4 last Friday. On Saturday she gave the children a picnic dinner.

Mrs. John Altenburg and Miss Etta Altenburg attended church in Granton Sunday.

Mrs. Watrous and son Virg and Mrs. Lyda Watrous and daughter of Neillsville autoed over and were Sunday guests of Mrs. Altenburg and children.

Mrs. James Tremelling and son Lyman and little daughter of Marshfield accompanied Orvil Altenburg in his auto and spent Sunday with her mother.

Orvil Altenburg visited the Tremelling’s in Marshfield last week.

Fred Capelle and daughters Letta and Laona autoed to Marshfield one day last week.

Gust Burgie, who has been employed at the cheese factory in this place for so long, left here Sunday for Colfax where he has employment in a cheese factory.

News was received here that Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold Viergutz in Canada are the proud parents of a fine new son.

Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Witt, accompanied by Mrs. Witt’s mother, autoed to Marshfield on Friday.

Miss Gladys Wage closes a very successful term of school in this place last Friday. She gave the school and their parents a picnic in Keller Park. A most bounteous dinner was served and all enjoyed themselves. The singing by the children was very good. It is with regret that we hear Miss Wage has accepted other work and will not return to teach here next year.

Ernest Hankey has bought the Abe Harding place near Chili and will move there soon, as the place is vacated by Mr. Harding.

Mrs. Ed Ure and Mrs. John Neuhardt and Miss Lottie Krause autoed to Mrs. Elmer Rose’s on Monday.
