Lilly, Rayona Ann (Marriage - 30 May 1967)

Nuptials vows were exchanged May 30 in Grace Methodist Church, Greenwood, uniting in marriage Miss Rayona Ann Lilly of Fillmore, N. Y., whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lilly and Donald C. Booher, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Carl Booher of Greenwood. The Rev. Mr. Booher officiated before an altar banked by bouquets of pink gladioli and white carnations.

Miss Annette Booher, the groom’s sister, sang, “The Lord’s Prayer,” accompanied by her mother at the organ. Miss Booher and Mrs. Booher played a piano and organ duet during the service.

For her wedding, the bride chose a white sand-crepe princess-style dress, fashioned with a Chantilly lace cage. Her short, white silk illusion veil was secured to a floral crown. She carried a white Bible and bouquet of pink and white carnations with lily-of-the-valley.

Miss Marlene Johnson of Withee was her maid-of-honor.

The groom was attended by Donald Wille of Elk River, Minn., as bestman. Usher was Steven Booher, the groom’s brother.

Wedding day events included a noon luncheon for the immediate family and wedding party at the home of the groom’s parents. A reception was held Saturday, June 3, at Wesleyan Methodist Church in Fillmore, N. Y.

The bride is an April, 1967 graduate of Humboldt Institute in Minneapolis, Minn. Mr. Booher attended North Central Bible College in Minneapolis for two years and will continue his studies at the University of Omaha, Omaha, Nebr.

Following a wedding trip to the bride’s home in Fillmore, N. Y., Mr. and Mrs. Booher will reside at 616 So. 31st Ave. Omaha, Nebr.

Guests from away here for the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wille of Elk River, Minn.; Mrs. Dorothy D. Graham, grandmother of the groom, from Des Moines, Ia.; and his sister Miss Annette Booher of Manitowoc.
